Story Time

Local homeschooling mum Cristy has kindly offered to run a 7 week series of story time activities for young children.   There are still spaces available if you have a little person who would enjoy some stories, craft and play dough!  Bookings are essential, details are below:

Crafty Story Time For Tots

A 7 week mini workshop for 2-5 year old’s who love stories and making things.
Each week we will read a different story and do a craft to match, there will also be a table set up in the theme of the book for play dough fun, plus a colouring in sheet to take home.
Parents are welcome to participate.  Workshops will be held in the small meeting room at the Mid Mountains Neighbourhood Centre, from 10:30-11:30am.

Week 1:  4/2/14  $12
Story – Where is the Green Sheep by Mem Fox
Craft – Peg and yarn sheep
Sensory – Green themed play dough table

Week 2: 11/2/14  $12
Story –  One Woolly Wombat by Rod Trinca and Kerry Argent
Craft – Paper animal masks
Sensory – Number themed play dough table

Week 3: 18/2/14  $12
Story – Who Wants A Dragon? by James Mayhew
Craft – Paper cup dragon
Sensory –  Red themed play dough table

Week 4: 25/2/14  $12
Story – The Tide by Nik Pollard
Craft –  Ocean in a bag
Sensory – Beach themed play dough table

Week 5: 4/3/14  $12
Story – Ten Terrible Dinosaurs by Paul Stickland
Craft – Dino Tails
Sensory – Fossil themed play dough table

Week 6: 11/3/14  $12
Story- Our Cat Flossie by Ruth Brown
Craft – Pom Pom Kitty and poem
Sensory – Pet themed play dough table

Week 7: 18/3/14  $12
Story – Fidgety Fish by Ruth Galloway
Craft – Paper bag fish
Sensory – Fish themed play dough table
